Team BDS have won the Malta Cyber Series VII Finals after defeating G2 Esports. It's the organization's first tournament victory since the signings of Fatih "Solotov" Türker and Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard, who were officially unveiled as players three days before the start of the competition.

After winning the Last Chance Qualifiers, Team BDS qualified for the Malta Cyber Series VII Finals. Back then, the roster already included Solotov and Yuzus, despite the duo hadn't been announced yet.

Following a one-sided victory (7-2) against Team 86, Team Secret pushed the French-majority squad to overtime on map three. Despite Secret's best efforts, Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu's side took the 2-1 victory and moved to the Upper Bracket Finals, where they beat G2 Esports after only dropping five rounds.

Eventually, both teams met again in the Grand Finals, where Team BDS had a one-map advantage for having won the Upper Bracket Finals. After losing on Chalet (5-7), Team BDS secured Border (7-1) and Consulate (7-2) to win the tournament.
